I know you've all enjoyed hearing me talk about that 'book' I was working on. Well, it's been written, edited, read, edited, read (by someone else), abandoned, cussed, edited, thrown against the wall... EDITED and FINALLY DONE!
To say the least, it's been a labor of love. Ilklore represents my lifelong dreams come true. I wrote it for me first, (if I may be so bold - it's always best to be your own biggest fan) and I love it so much, I couldn't wait to share it with EVERYONE.
There's still work to be done. We're in the process of looking for an agent, but that will come. I hope to be sharing PUBLISHING news with you (say a prayer) before long. Then you'll know what all this hubbub's been about.
For now, I'm reveling in just being able to share the merest of a glimpse into Ilklore's realm.
None... AND I MEAN NONE... of this would have been possible were it not for my amazingly talented husband, Jason. His stunning artistry has brought my fevered musing to life in startlingly brilliant imagery.
There are a few unmentioned heroes in the background of this project that I will shine a light on in due time. You know who you are (CC, SH, JC & SR) and I thank God for your honest feedback and valuable critiques. I took every word to heart. Know that you made it better.
Okay, so, I'm not good at this social media - share everything you're thinking - world. I need to break out of this moldy mold for the sake of my nerves. That being said, I will attempt to make this a forum for the 'after writing' process. I want to share my experiences in seeking, querying, and signing with an agent.
Until you have the book in you're hands, I hope you will stop by from time to time to enjoy tidbits as we add them. Jason's putting the final touches on a few choice offerings and I will have a collection of short stories from the world of Ilklore coming soon.
Pray for us guys. We're entering the ring full throttle... and we're fearless.
